Currently in 11th grade at Dover Bay Secondary School, Jack is absolutely ecstatic to be serving as Director of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for this year's Iteration of NMUN 2025. Ever since his first conference, where he read the backgrounder while the secretariat speech was occurring and doing a quick Google search of his country that showed absolutely no helpful information, Jack has been enthralled in the chaotically calm world of Model United Nations, from raising his placard for the first time to the first speech quickly scribbled on a ripped-up piece of lined paper. Outside of the committee room, he can be seen obsessing over cars and Lego, especially Lego cars. Jack is absolutely thrilled to witness all the exciting debates that will occur and the passionate delegates who make them.

August Lam was born in August. At the prime age of 17, she is in grade 12 this year and is exhilarated to serve as the Assistant Director of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for this year's iteration of Nanaimo MUN. Leveraging the little experience she has gained as a delegate over the past two years—from an observer of great speakers our age to evolving assertively throughout her journey—she ambitiously hopes to staff the most memorable, excruciatingly fun, and educational experiences she herself has chanced upon! Aside from navigating academic trenches, she enjoys reading and watching across all dimensions, is a fan of drawing, singing, writing, and plays a plethora of instruments!
